My portfolio from my Comm 316 class

This semester has been so fun learning and growing through my Comm 316 Digital Imaging class. I learned a lot about who I am as a photographer. To check out the course go to my wonderful instructor’s page here.

I love taking portraits and product photography. Taking photos of and for clients is so much fun. I love getting to know people and seeing the happiness that they get out of some great professional photos. Lighting is so important in portrait  and product shoots (something I learned to use well in my Comm 316 class) and I try to use it as best I can.

I like simple edits in post production. Fixing all of the little flaws and imperfections leads to a photo that really is truthful to what my clients want and who they are. Bringing out colors I saw in the shoot and showing the true beauty of a scene is where editing really comes in handy.

I’ve had a wonderful semester in Comm 316 shooting models, planes, the Tetons, designing and so much more. Check out my work over the past few months below.

Enjoy!

  1. Page, I love that maternity shot you did with the little booties. So cute! I also love that photo you took of Zoe and her boyfriend. Dang girl! The backlighting is awesome! I’ve loved getting to know you more this semester, and I hope that we see each other again soon!
