Hats off to my wonderful outdoor portraits models! It’s not easy to look gorgeous while you’re freezing.

It takes genuine talent to pull off looking happy and beautiful when you’re freezing your butt off. And somehow these incredible people pulled it off. I had so much fun shooting with them and being able to model for all of them as well.

Portraits are quickly becoming something that I love. It’s really rewarding to help someone look their best in a professional photo that they can have forever. And outdoor portraits are so much fun. I was so lucky to have an overcast sky the day of this shoot because that lighting is very flattering. I was shooting at 1/125 and f/ 5.0 with a 100 ISO.

Positioning in portraits is the hardest part for me personally. But once I have a little bit of time to get to know my subject and figure out what they want I can get some great photos in flattering positions. These winter outdoor portraits are some of my favorite portraits so far. What do you think?
