Fuzzy, bright, and blooming summer wildflowers

Not far past the small duck pond near my home are a field and a park. I’m ashamed to say that what really got me outside into the heat this summer was Pokemon Go. Luckily I took my camera with me when I went out to the park to hit the Pokestops. Alright, I might have gone out a few times before Pokemon game came out out. The summer wildflowers were so pretty even from my window that I had to go snap a few photos.

I got a zoom lens a few months back and it has been a blast to use it while shooting up-close photos of the summer wildflowers. Living in Arizona, we have a very different type of summer wildflower – it’s called cactus. Ha! But really these summer wildflowers are still new to me and I loved being able to go out on a little stroll around the park and shoot while also hatching a Bulbasaur!

Enjoy Oregon’s summer wildflowers and an appearance from Spidey.

P.s. Spidey was our little pet who lived on Cody’s side mirror for almost the whole summer. He held on everyday while Cody drove all over Oregon for work, on trips to the coast, and everywhere we went. But the other day Cody decided to put him in a little tube (he’s a pest control salesman) to show his buddies. I’m convinced that this is what killed him. Cody swears he put him back on his web and he was fine – but he also says he was in a closed tube all day… RIP Spidey.
