Outdoor product photography is new to me

I honestly hadn’t even realized that outdoor product photography existed at all until it was introduced to me a month or so ago. Once I wrapped my mind around it, it was really fun to shoot. I had to be a little bit more imaginative that I originally would have thought. It was a fun learning experience.

Because I was outdoors and it was sunny with snow on the ground I just used natural light with these photos and I think they turned out awesome. I grabbed my boots and mittens and brought them out to do a little bit of a lifestyle shoot with them. I think they look pretty cool. I loved the idea of having this little boat just floating on snow but then I found the most adorable little spot for it on the porch. While shooting I was at 1/100 amd f/4.0 with an ISO of 200.
